Vic Perry is the former Vice-President and General Manager of Ductal Lafarge North America in Calgary. Over a 30-year career, Vic has worked as a structural engineer, field engineer, manager and senior executive within the consulting and industrial sectors. He has admirably served organizations such as the Canadian Portland Cement Association, Dalhousie University and Lafarge Canada, as well as Canada’s technical societies and regulatory bodies such as the CSCE where he served as its national President, the EIC, PEO, APENS and APEGA.

She has also be named one of Canada’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs by PROFIT and Chatelaine magazines and one of Canada’s Top 25 Women Lawyers by Lexpert. Debbie is well respected, has grown a number of start-ups in the Ottawa community and brings a large network of contacts in all sectors to the company.

Dennis Lentz is Chief Digital Officer and Member of the Managing Board at Heidelberg Materials. He leads all digital functions globally, incl. Business Solutions, Digital Products & Partnerships, Data & Software Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Operations, IT Governance, Cyber Security, User Experience, Analytics, and Transformational Change. With a background in logistics, information technology, and corporate strategy, Dennis strives to build the digital ecosystem of our industry – to make our industry more efficient and play a central role in decarbonizing it.
Tony Pearson

Tony Pearson has 30+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer in the Ready-Mix industry working in operations, concrete technology, sales, and logistics. As the Global Director of Competence Center Readymix for Heidelberg Materials, he leads continuous improvement of their ready-mix operations in 35 countries supplying over 50 million m3 of concrete annually. The group focus includes mix design optimization, sustainability, digitalization, and commercialization of products and technologies. Tony is also a director of several other IT-based companies directly engaged with the concrete industry.
Matt Stanley

Matt Stanley is a Partner at BDC Capital’s ClimateTech Fund and has two decades of experience working in sustainability, climate, strategy, innovation, and venture investing, with leading brands including BDC Capital, IKEA, EY & Deloitte, managing global sustainability projects, leading venture investments, and working with senior leaders and entrepreneurs. He holds a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s from Mount Allison University.

Dr. Pouria Ghods is a professional entrepreneur and experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the concrete industry for the application of smart concrete testing technologies. He has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering practices related to Concrete Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering, and Non-destructive Testing. Dr. Ghods is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the 2018 Forty Under 40, 2012 Ottawa’s 100 Rising Stars and 2011 OCRI Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his work at Giatec.
Aali R. Alizadeh, PhD, P.Eng.

Dr. Alizadeh has over 15 years of experience in the development and commercialization of technologies related to concrete materials. He brings unique expertise on the durability of concrete at the nano-level, particularly when it relates to infrastructure exposed to harsh environmental conditions. Most recently, Dr. Alizadeh was honored with the National Capital Region’s Forty Under 40 award, which recognizes accomplished business leaders who are under the age of 40 and give back to their community.
